Canine Reach Alliance

Privacy Policy

How Canine Reach Alliance handles directory accounts, payments, business submissions and optional AI assistance.

Version 2026-10-22 · Effective upon publication · Revised October 22, 2026

Current directory policies. These policies describe the directory service, payment processing, privacy choices and business submissions. Review the terms before purchasing a pass.

1. Who operates this directory

Canine Reach Alliance operates Pet Care Directory at https://petdirect.caninereachalliance.org. Contact caninereachalliance@gmail.com for privacy, correction, payment or account questions. This policy applies to the directory and its supported mobile experience.

2. Information we use

Browsing may generate device, IP address, security and usage logs through our hosting provider. Account features use your account ID, email and authentication details. Business claims collect the representative’s name, role, email, phone, authority statement and submitted business information. We use this information to provide access, review claims and corrections, prevent abuse and respond to requests. Public business contact details and source references are distinguished from private representative information.

3. Payments and access passes

PayPal processes checkout under its own privacy policy: https://www.paypal.com/us/legalhub/paypal/privacy-full. The directory stores account-linked order and capture references, pass scope and category, purchase amount and currency, access dates, payment status, and refund audit details. We do not ask for or store card numbers or card security codes in the directory. Payment support may require your account email and transaction reference. PayPal separately controls information you provide to it.

4. Hosting, authentication and providers

Base44 hosts the app and provides authentication, storage, security and AI integration. Its privacy practices are described at https://base44.com/privacy-policy and https://docs.base44.com/Community-and-support/Privacy-and-security. Google sign-in uses Google’s authentication service. Sign in with Apple, when enabled, uses Apple’s authentication service. Providers process information under their own terms; their processing and backup schedules may differ from ours. Base44’s model-training practices depend on the workspace plan; we do not promise that all platform data is excluded from training.

5. Optional AI processing and choice

When you choose Ask the guide, the question and up to six recent conversation messages are sent to Base44’s AI integration and the AI providers it selects to generate an answer. Base44 lists providers and their policies at https://docs.base44.com/Community-and-support/ai-service-providers. Do not enter personal, patient, financial or confidential information. The app keeps the visible conversation in page memory, not a directory chat-history database; service providers may process or retain requests under their policies. Use Start a new conversation to clear the visible conversation. Optional microphone input starts only when you select Use microphone and your browser permits it. Audio may be processed by your browser’s speech service; this app receives the transcript and does not store audio. Review the text before sending it to the guide. This does not retract requests already processed. Directory browsing does not require using AI.

6. Saved items and browser storage

Saved provider names and IDs, and saved comparison selections, are stored in your browser on this device. They are separated by the signed-in account ID or a guest profile and do not sync between devices. They contain no cached paid profile or payment details. Removing saved items, clearing site data, or submitting an account-deletion request from this device removes the applicable local saved items. Other devices must be cleared separately. Browser storage is not suitable for confidential notes.

7. Publication, sharing and external links

Only administrator-approved business details and prices become directory content. Private representative contact information is not automatically published as public business contact information. External provider sites, PayPal, Google reviews, maps and social platforms follow their own policies. We do not sell private account or representative information.

8. Deletion and retention

Initiate account deletion in Account & Privacy without contacting support. We aim to complete it within 7 calendar days, explain any delay and revised timeframe, and send completion confirmation. Deletion includes the account and associated private data except records retained for a documented legal, accounting, dispute or security need. Public business facts may remain without their private account association. Payment records needed for those purposes are restricted; third-party payment and hosting records follow provider policies. See the Records-Retention Policy for operational details.

9. Changes and contact

Updates are identified by the version and revision date. Material changes to optional AI processing require renewed consent. Contact caninereachalliance@gmail.com to ask about your information or report a concern; do not include passwords, full card details or patient records.
